Stress is the body's short term, internal response to a threat or trigger happening externally. Stress and anxiety can look identical. However, stress can be managed while anxiety persists after the trigger or threat is gone. In childhood, is our first experience with being unsafe and we create systems to protect ourselves from harm. If your body's response to stress remain elevated, this can be our default. It can take a toll on your body and wear you out mentally, physically, and emotionally when our body can no longer regulate the response or determine real and perceived danger.
Anxiety is our body's NATURAL reaction to stress. It's what happens inside our bodies as a result of what is happening outside of our bodies. It can be a long term feeling of fear, persistent worry, and dread. It can be a long term effect of stress, generally beginning during childhood. Anxiety can feel like a loss of control or a sense of losing control.

Hello, I am excited to offer this unique and affordable service to people who want to learn how to cope with anxiety and stress. As a certified Anxiety Coach with a BS in psychology, I specialize in helping people identify and manage triggers, work through fears, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. I offer a variety of services including one-on-one anxiety coaching, group coaching, retreats, webinars, speaking, and a 10 week course as well as helping parents, interviewers, coaching for networkers. and basic financial literacy. Most coaching is done online.
Anxiety Can be debilitating, but with the right tools and support, it can be managed. I am passionate about helping people overcome their anxiety so they can live happy and productive lives. I assist in facilitating experiences to reduce emotional charge through a series of repeated techniques with the Trauma Incident Reduction Association.
What that means is helping you to view what you experienced in a different light to put the pieces of your life together. We will explore learning to set healthy boundaries in order to communicate your needs in relationships, examining our available choices, as well as what we could control and what we could not also aids in our inner critic becoming our fiercest ally. ​

Nick's Notables was established in 2017. Through experiencing my own trauma and learning to process and resolve my understanding around it, I discovered a passion to help others process their own trauma.
